Presidents Message:
Upon my re-
Let me say that I am grateful that nearly all appointed committee officers of the
previous state of officers have volunteered to stay on with their various assignments
and that I am looking forward to serving with the re-
By so doing, these members have displayed that they want to uphold the integrity of the Korean War Veterans of Massachusetts Inc.
Along with them and the entire body of our combined effort will continue the success we have fostered in the past. These successes are the continuing support to hospitalized veterans, POW/MIA issues, veteran legislation, community involvement and ceremonies, the maintenance of the Korean War Veterans memorial in the Shipyard park in Charlestown, our relations with the Korean community, presentation at schools, and to remember and take pride in realizing that our Massachusetts Association was one of the founding forces of the Korean War Veterans National Association in Washington, D.C.
However, we as a country and particularly as an association, face many challenges ahead as our members get older and time will take its inevitable turn. Possible changes in our membership may be presented to us and we ponder all for the good of the association’s survival in the future years.
Some feel that the veteran organizations may be more effective under one allied organization rather than fragmented in many smaller bodies. Meanwhile, we are and will remain proud of our Korean Seervice, and look to The Republic of South Korea that is experiencing freedom that would not have been attained, if not for those who gave some and for some who gave all !!!
God Bless America !
Sincerely,
Nicholas Paganella
President
Korean War Veterans of Massachusetts, Inc.
